Urban Hikes KC

In this artful urban hike, we will experience Kansas City’s art scene from the outside- in while touching on the history of Kansas City. We’ll spend time in the Kansas City Arts District visiting historical buildings full of art. We’ll also experience art in non-traditional settings like streetcar stops, walk through art-filled spaces around Kansas City Art Institute, the Nelson Atkins Sculpture Garden, The Arterie and the Kemper Museum of Art. In between hiking & art , we will ride the KC Streetcar extension twice to have the opportunity of purchasing a hot drink at the Kemper’s Oil on Linen. Since we will be visiting some indoor destinations, this hike is a perfect winter experience.
