As Seen in KC Daily: The Locals Already Know. Now You Do Too.

There is a certain kind of credibility that only comes from locals. National travel publications can find a hotel. A beloved local newsletter recommends the ones that actually belong to the city.

KC Daily, Kansas City’s go-to daily newsletter and a three-time nominee for Best Local Blog in the Kansas City Magazine Best of KC competition, surfaced Crossroads Hotel as one of six top luxury hotels in the city in its March 2026 Suite Dreams edition. The piece drew on Conde Nast Traveler’s own rankings, but the endorsement carried the weight of a readership that lives here, eats here, and knows the difference between a hotel that performs for visitors and one that genuinely fits the city.

Crossroads fits. It opened in 2018 inside a former Pabst Brewing Company depot in the heart of the Crossroads Arts District, and in the years since it has become as much a neighborhood institution as a hotel. Lazia draws dinner crowds who have nothing to do with checking in. Percheron fills up on summer evenings with guests and locals alike. The gallery space rotates quarterly exhibitions from Kansas City-connected artists. The hotel is part of the neighborhood, not just located in it.

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup bringing an international audience to Kansas City this summer, the city is going to be full of people trying to figure out where to stay. The locals already know. Crossroads Hotel is the answer.
