Tucked in the oldest part of the building, the private dining room off Lazia keeps the exposed brick and speakeasy character of Crossroads Hotel’s former brewing-depot days. It’s a favorite for rehearsal dinners and engagement toasts, up to 50 guests, no fewer than 20. Lazia only opens for dinner service, so a Sunday farewell brunch here means the room is yours alone before the doors open to anyone else.
Restaurant Gatherings at Crossroads
Crossroads Hotel sits inside a former brewing depot in the middle of the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, restored masonry and all. Lazia, Percheron, and XR Cafe carry that same character into every celebration, an engagement part, a rehearsal dinner, a welcome party, a Sunday farewell brunch, whatever the weekend calls for.
A Speakeasy Room for Your People
Toast Above the Skyline
Named for the horses that once pulled drays for the brewery this building used to be, Percheron pairs Kansas City skyline views with Eastern Mediterranean small plates and frozen cocktails. Reserve one section for a welcome party or shower of up to 120, with the rest of the rooftop still open to walk-in guests, or take the whole space, up to 250, for the reception itself. Ask about pairing your Percheron event with a Saturday morning rooftop yoga session, a favorite with wedding parties before the day gets going.
Casual Toasts, Any Time of Day
XR Cafe runs from morning coffee to late-night cocktails, and reserves for groups up to 20, an easy fit for a bridesmaids’ brunch or a low-key welcome gathering. Need more room for an after-party? The Gallery next door, our on-site art collection at the front of the hotel, gives a bigger group the same neighborhood energy with local art on every wall.
