Gorgeously designed rooms and suites help define the Crossroads experience. But more, this is where historic and modern meet. Where people from all over and around the corner come together. The energy, creativity and passion that define the city and neighborhood can call this place home. Crossroads, just like Kansas City, is at its core about community and connection. At every turn, we tapped local artists, designers and purveyors to share their talent and creativity with us in places public and private.
Our signature food and drink experiences offer something different and something for everyone. Try XR in the bustling lobby for coffee or woodfire pizza, hit the rooftop beer garden for a view and a brew, add a large pour of a new wine to your dinner at our modern take on old world Italian, Lazia.
The warmest welcome, the friendliest staff, the most thoughtful touches and bright, inspiring spaces bring the spirit of KC to your event.
We bring together artists, innovators, thinkers, doers and dreamers to our Art District home to talk, learn, share, grow. Meet our Collaborators.

Beginning as a one-woman show in 2014, Convivial Production grew from a garage into the 2.5k sq. ft. operation it is today. This local design studio, print shop and retail store is located just up the street from the hotel. Offering everything from beautiful souvenirs to letterpress workshops, Hammerpress worked with the Crossroads team to ensure each room has beautiful framed art and custom pressed works.
After leaving the world of advertising, Kansas City resident Karrie Dean decided to embrace her passion for art and launched Happy Habitat, selling her beautiful custom blankets and throws. At Crossroads Hotel, you can find Karrie’s work in your guest room and throughout the hotel.
Talented Kansas City tattoo artists, husband and wife team Mikey and Megan Wheeler worked together to design the beautiful wallpaper in the guest rooms. Black and white, the design features plains flora on a grand scale. Mikey Wheeler’s work can also be found on the Lazia menus in the illustration of Tom Pendergast and Johnny Lazia.
Artist in Residency
The artistic heart of Kansas City beats in the Crossroads neighborhood. To give back to this community that gives so much of itself, the gallery will house works from local artists as well as exhibit work from our artist-in-residence program. Stop by to see what's new, take a peek at the resident studio or just be a part of the creative conversations happening here.
