The Kansas City Ballet Second Company returns to the Crossroads Hotel for our annual tradition of inspiring performance. Come join us on September 7th at 4pm, 4:45pm and 5:30pm in the Crossroads Hotel Atrium to see these dancers light up the heart of the hotel with innovative, soulful, and exciting choreography. The evening’s performances feature works by Parrish Maynard, Christopher Ruud and world premiere by 2nd Co. dancer Ava Bernardo.
The Kansas City Ballet Second Company is a group of young professionals who are at the end of their training journey and taking their early bold steps into the professional world of dance performance. These elite dancers have come to Kansas City Ballet to learn and dance alongside our brilliant Kansas City Ballet Company. From performances at the Kauffman Center to other wonderful and iconic Kansas City locations such as the Crossroads Hotel, these dancers are making huge strides into professional dance and this performance is a wonderful culmination of their ongoing dedication and hard work.
