New Year’s Eve: Disco Never Died

Disco. Never. Died. 

Crossroads Hotel is the art district’s discotheque – for one night only.  This is one of Kansas City’s best New Year’s Eve parties & there is no secret – we simply invite our coolest friends to perform, pour the bubbliest bevs, and spare no expense for our favorite night of the year.

This time, we ring in 2024 with a night of modern disco (with a little surrealism, neon, avant garde details & surprises & delights mixed in). Disco was designed with two things in mind: Music & Movement. We want you to expect the unexpected, but those 2 things you can count on. 

Quixotic is bringing their flare with dazzling lights, allll the mirror balls, and some of the region’s most talented performers – without revealing too much, we paint them as the entertainers. They do it so well.

Nomada is back again, transforming the ballroom into a space unlike others they have created yet. We just gave you a hint – did you catch it? The crew is throwing a party of their own with an unparalleled sound system & troupe of the city’s best song selectors. Everyone who enters is an active participant. As they say – it’s all for YOU. 

One of our favs – resident musician & DJ Cale Parks – gets the ball rolling with a fully produced DJ set in the Atrium. He’ll tee up performances & lead your experience for the very last day of ‘23.

As for what to wear… bring it back (whatever that means to you) – we are envisioning all the sexy vintage, all the disco drip (the higher the platform, the better), or simply whatever makes you do that happy dance in the mirror before a night out.
