This holiday, celebrated throughout Mexico and by people of Mexican heritage around the world, comes to the Crossroads to introduce history, cultural tradition and heritage to our neighborhood providing space for all those who celebrate
In partnership with Mattie Rhodes Art Center & Gallery, Kansas City Museum, and Crossroads Hotel, this annual fiesta is one you can’t miss. Celebrate Día de los Muertos with lively folklórico dancing, a roaming mariachi, and live music from one of KC’s favorite Latin bands. Enjoy colorful sugar skulls and alebrije puppetry, complimentary face painting for adults, and thoughtfully paired specialty cocktails as well as dishes made just for the night. While you roam, browse the goods from Latino makers or make a thoughtful addition to the ofrenda – our altar covered top to bottom in marigolds to welcome back our community in spirit.
